Job summary

TimePlan Education is seeking an experienced Nursery Manager to lead a busy Islington nursery on a temporary basis for 3-6 months. You will oversee day-to-day operations, support the nursery team, and ensure high standards of care, safeguarding and early years practice are maintained.

The role requires strong leadership, EYFS knowledge and Ofsted compliance, Monday to Friday work, and an ASAP start. If you can motivate staff, manage planning and development, and safeguard children's welfare,

Qualifications

• Experienced Nursery Manager or Deputy Manager ready to step up.
• Confident in leading a team and managing nursery operations.
• Knowledgeable about EYFS and safeguarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the nursery.
• Lead, motivate and support the nursery team.
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and child welfare.
• Develop strong relationships with children, parents and staff.
• Ensure EYFS and Ofsted compliance.
• Support staff development and performance.
• Oversee planning, observations and learning progress.
• Manage staffing, rotas and resources effectively.
