Job summary

Willing Care Recruitment Limited seeks an experienced Nursery Manager to lead a thriving early years setting where children are encouraged to explore, discover, and develop a lifelong love of learning. You will provide strong leadership to a dedicated team and drive high standards of care, learning and safeguarding.

You will oversee day‑to‑day operations, manage budgets and occupancy, and build positive relationships with families and external professionals.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years qualification or above is required.
• Proven experience as Nursery Manager in a large setting.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day running of the nursery.
• Ensure high standards of care, education, and safeguarding are maintained.
• Manage, mentor, and develop the nursery team.
• Drive occupancy, parent engagement, and overall nursery performance.
• Ensure compliance with EYFS requirements, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor quality and implement continuous improvements.
• Manage budgets, staffing, and operational performance.
• Build strong relationships with children, families, staff, and external professionals.
