Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible temporary postal delivery drivers. You will drive a Royal Mail van around your delivery area, while also walking parts of the route.

Requirements: Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points, physical fitness to walk up to 20,000 steps daily, and flexibility for varying shifts. Pay rates vary by shift and may lead to permanent opportunities.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Able to walk long distances and carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Able to work flexible shifts and adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels in the local community as the face of Royal Mail.
• Drive the delivery van and complete parts of the route on foot.
• Ensure secure, accurate delivery and comply with business standards.
