Job summary

Royal Mail is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join us as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers. As a Post Person with Driving, you'll be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels come rain or shine.

You'll drive the route, may walk parts of it, and handle election materials and other items in line with Royal Mail standards. A driving assessment will be required on start, and shifts vary to fit the business needs.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; flexible for short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels along your route.
• Drive a Royal Mail delivery van and walk parts of the route.
• Pass a driving assessment before starting.
