Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers. You’ll deliver letters and parcels in your local community, with a mix of driving and walking, while maintaining high service standards.

As a Post Person with Driving, you’ll be the face of Royal Mail, delivering come rain or shine and handling items according to business rules. This roles blends outdoor activity with customer service on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points, you’ll be driving a Royal Mail van as part of your round.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, get in and out of your van regularly, and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary, so we need team players who can adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• As a Post Person with Driving, you’ll be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels come rain or shine.
• Drive your delivery area, complete parts of your route on foot, and provide exceptional service to ensure on-time delivery.
