Job summary

Angard Recruitment is recruiting flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers for Royal Mail. You will drive a Royal Mail van and deliver letters and parcels, with parts of the route walked on foot to complete the delivery cycle.

Expected to be physically fit, endure varied shifts, and pass a driving assessment to begin. Opportunities for ongoing work and the chance to become permanent may arise.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, get in and out of your van, and carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; must be able to adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your route, in all weather conditions.
• Drive a Royal Mail van, with parts of your route completed on foot.
• Provide exceptional service and ensure items reach their destinations safely.
