Job summary

Angard Recruitment is hiring flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers for Royal Mail. You will deliver letters and parcels, sometimes on foot, in your designated area, while maintaining high service standards.

This role involves walking substantial distances, driving a Royal Mail van, and adapting to varying shift patterns. Immediate start with potential for permanency is noted in the role description.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16 kg.
• Shifts can vary; must be able to adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels to communities on your round.
• Drive a Royal Mail delivery van and occasionally deliver on foot.
• Securely deliver all items and handle election materials per standards.
