Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible temporary postal delivery drivers. You will deliver letters and parcels across your local area, combining driving a van with foot delivery.

A full UK driving licence, ability to walk long distances, and adaptability to shift patterns are required. The role is physically demanding but offers varied days and a chance to earn according to shift pay rates.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary and require team players who can adapt quickly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your delivery area.
• Drive a Royal Mail van and complete parts of your route on foot.
• Handle and deliver election materials and certain restricted items in line with standards.
