Job summary

Royal Mail is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join us as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers. You’ll drive a Royal Mail van and deliver letters and parcels across your round, often on foot, come rain or shine.

A full UK driving licence, good physical fitness to walk and lift up to 16 kg, and a flexible approach to shifts are required. This role is a great way to serve your community while earning competitive pay in a lively, outdoor-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Full, UK driving licence required.
• Ability to walk long distances and carry loads up to 16kg.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your round, driving a Royal Mail van and delivering on foot.
• Provide friendly, reliable service in all weather conditions.
• Handle and deliver election materials and other items in line with Royal Mail standards.
• Pass a driving assessment before starting.
