Job summary

Adecco Group UK & Ireland is recruiting for Customer Service Assistants to support customers at Paddington Station during planned railway engineering works. You will be the first and last point of contact, welcoming passengers, offering directions and travel information while replacement buses operate.

This is a fast-paced role with a strong emphasis on safety and exceptional customer service. Pay rate is £13.45 per hour, with shift patterns including 08:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles is preferred.
• Clear spoken English and good communication skills.
• Be aged 18 years or over and physically able to stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet customers entering and leaving the station.
• Provide travel information and answer general enquiries.
• Assist passengers with any required accessibility needs.
• Help customers locate replacement bus services during rail disruption.
• Maintain a safe, clean station environment.
