Qualifications

• Previous front-of-house, reception, or customer service experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Compassion, empathetic and caring approach.
• Comfortable working in a busy, high-call-volume environment.
• Able to remain calm, professional, and patient in challenging situations.
• Strong technical and systems ability with confidence learning new software.
• Provet experience is desirable, though strong systems ability is also acceptable.

Responsibilities

Temporary Receptionist / Customer Service - Veterinary Clinic

£15 per hour
4 weeks initially, with potential to become ongoing

We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Receptionist / Customer Service professional to join a busy veterinary clinic in West London.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and is confident in a busy, high-volume environment. As this is a veterinary setting, compassion, empathy and a calm, caring approach are essential. You will be speaking with pet owners who may be worried or distressed, so the ability to remain professional while providing a reassuring and understanding service is incredibly important.

The Role

• Providing a friendly, professional, and compassionate front-of-house service
• Handling a high volume of calls and customer enquiries
• Supporting clients who may be worried, upset or concerned about their pets
• Managing queries efficiently while maintaining a calm and empathetic approach
• Using internal systems to accurately record and update information
• Supporting the wider reception team to ensure the smooth running of the clinic
• Communicating confidently and professionally, both verbally and in writing

Shift Patterns

Shifts will be confirmed week by week, with flexibility required.

• Early: 8:15am - 4:45pm
• Mid: 9:30am - 6:00pm
• Late: 10:30am - 7:00pm

We're Looking For
