Office Angels in Dover (Whitfield) seeks a talented Chef for a short-term position in a busy kitchen. You will lead the kitchen team, prepare dishes to a high standard, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while delivering excellent service under pressure.

The role offers straight shifts with a regular weekend off, a pay rate of £14.50 per hour, staff parking, uniform provided, and staff discounts on meals during breaks. 2–3 weeks duration.

Qualifications

• A minimum of two years' kitchen experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of food and health & safety legislation, particularly allergens and HACCP.
• Experience working in a high-pressure team environment.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to follow recipes accurately.
• Excellent listening and communication within a team.

• Oversee shift operations, ensuring a smooth workflow and adherence to health and safety regulations, including allergens, HACCP, and COSHH.
• Manage stock deliveries and implement effective stock rotation practises.
• Collaborate as part of a cohesive team, fostering a supportive and positive kitchen atmosphere.

Shift Patterns

• Chefs work 5 days out of 7 - 9 hrs with a 1-hour break (40 hrs a week) - pay £14.50 per hour
• Early shift (Mon to Sat) - 6am to 3pm
• Early shift (Sun) - 7.30am to 4.30pm
• Late shift (Mon to Sun) - 1pm to 10pm
