The Ben Fund is seeking a Temporary Catering Assistant to join our Bistro team. The role involves assisting with kitchen and front-of-house services, serving customers, and ensuring high standards of food hygiene.

The successful candidate will be trained to work alongside existing staff and contribute to a positive customer experience. Applicants should have catering experience and a Food Hygiene Certificate, with the ability to work flexibly between 0700 and 1900 hours.

Temporary Catering Assistant

Applications are invited for the post of Temporary Catering Assistant to join our fantastic Bistro team.

The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience in the catering industry, with experience in both food preparation and customer service. They will have the ability to work both as part of a team and independently, a willingness to learn, and a flexible approach to working hours.

The successful applicant will be trained to work alongside our existing staff to prepare and serve fresh meals, wait on customers, and provide excellent customer service. You will also be required to maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and Bistro to our high standards.

Main Responsibilities

• Working as part of a team to deliver both kitchen and front-of-house services.
• Preparing food safely and efficiently.
• Serving customers, taking orders and processing payments.
• Adhering to cleaning and hygiene practices.
