Job summary

Thomas Telford School in Shrewsbury is seeking a reliable Catering Assistant to join the team during term time. Hours are 9:15am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday, with duties including kitchen cleaning, dishwashing, deliveries, some food preparation, and serving at the till.

Full training will be provided; a Food Hygiene certificate is desirable but not essential. The role is on-site at the school, with an hourly rate above minimum wage.

Duties Include:

• Cleaning of the Kitchen, Equipment, Servery and Restaurant.
• Working in the Central Dish Wash and Pot Wash.
• Putting away deliveries.
• Some food preparation
• Serving of food and working on the till
• Any other Catering Duties as required.
• Hospitality duties.

The post is Monday to Friday, term time only.
