Morgan Hunt UK Ltd is seeking a Temporary Biology Lecturer to support the Level 3 Foundation Programme at a Cardiff-based university. The role is 0.3 FTE (21 hours per week) with a start date in October 2026.

The successful candidate will deliver Biology teaching, design and deliver engaging sessions, and develop and mark assessments while providing academic support to students. Collaboration with colleagues will be essential to ensure an excellent student experience.

Qualifications

• Proven Biology teaching skills and experience.
• Experience delivering Level 3 Foundation Programme modules.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to design, deliver, and assess teaching units.

Responsibilities

• Teaching Biology on the Level 3 Foundation Programme.
• Designing, planning and delivering engaging teaching sessions.
• Developing and marking assessments.
• Providing academic support and guidance to students.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure an excellent student experience.
• Undertaking associated administrative duties related to teaching and assessment.
