Job summary

Eden Brown Synergy is seeking a Biology Lecturer for a Further Education College in West Yorkshire to deliver high-quality teaching across Level 2 and Level 3 Applied Science. The role is part-time and temporary to start asap, approximately 2.5–3 days a week, until October half term.

You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, develop practical lab skills and support students toward their qualifications. Applicants should have a biology degree, FE teaching experience and be DBS checked; a PGCE

Qualifications

• Teaching experience in FE or similar educational setting.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Commitment to student progress and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Biology and Applied Science lessons for Level 2 and Level 3.
• Deliver a range of biological topics relevant to the curriculum.
• Develop students' theoretical knowledge and practical laboratory skills.
• Prepare and deliver practical experiments in line with health and safety requirements.
• Assess student work and provide constructive feedback.
• Support students in preparing for examinations and assessments.
• Maintain records of attendance and learner progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues in the Science department.
