\"We work in their home, they don't live where we work.\" - At Beeches, this isn't just a motto. It's the foundation of everything we do.

Beeches is a welcoming thirteen-bed home supporting adults with physical and learning disabilities in a beautiful countryside setting in Mirfield. Our purpose is simple: to help the people we support live fulfilling lives with independence, dignity, choice and meaningful communication at the heart of every day. Beeches is more than a workplace. It's a home. And we're looking for people who understand the difference.

We're looking for an organised and proactive Home Administrator to support the smooth day-to-day running of a residential care home. Working closely with the Registered Manager, you will provide comprehensive administrative and business support, helping to ensure the home operates efficiently and remains compliant with regulatory requirements.

Why Beeches?

When you join Beeches, you're not simply providing care. You're helping create a home where people feel safe, respected, listened to and valued.

Many of the people we support communicate in unique ways, and our staff take the time to understand each individual, ensuring their voice is heard and their choices guide the support they receive. We promote independence wherever possible, encouraging people to develop skills, access their community and enjoy opportunities that matter to them.

Our team understands that dignity isn't just a word. It's about treating every person with respect, supporting them on their own terms, and recognising that this is their home.

Key Duties

  • Provide general administrative support including correspondence, reports, databases, and document management.
  • Deliver a professional reception service, handling telephone enquiries and welcoming visitors.
  • Organise meetings, prepare agendas, take accurate minutes, and follow up on agreed actions.
  • Manage diaries, appointments, and training schedules for staff and residents.
  • Maintain accurate records, electronic systems, personnel files, and compliance trackers.
  • Support financial administration including petty cash, invoice processing, mileage claims, and reconciliations.
  • Assist with recruitment administration, onboarding, induction tracking, and interview documentation.
  • Monitor staff training, supervision records, and compliance requirements.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail and ensure documents are correctly filed and stored.
  • Work closely with the management team to support quality standards, safeguarding, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance.

Ideal Candidate

You will have previous administrative experience, excellent organisational and communication skills, strong Microsoft Office knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. Experience within a care, health, charity, or regulated environment would be advantageous.

What You'll Gain

  • The opportunity to work within a highly respected specialist service.
  • Ongoing training and development.
  • A supportive management team.
  • The chance to be part of a service where people truly come first.
  • The satisfaction of knowing your work has a lasting impact on people's lives.

Unfortunately, we are not able to offer sponsorship to work in the UK.

Hollybank Trust is committed to Safeguarding vulnerable people, and our Safer Recruitment process requires all employees to have an Enhanced DBS check and reference checks in line with our Recruitment & Selection policy.

We will pay for your initial DBS check, unless you have a portable DBS, however, if the candidate leaves voluntarily within the first 12 months, £58.90 will be deducted from your final salary payment.
