Job summary

Beechcroft House in Doncaster is seeking a Residential Support Worker to assist adults with learning disabilities within a small, person-centred home. The role offers 12-hour shifts (days or nights) at £12.95 per hour and a permanent contract with a fixed shift pattern.

We provide full induction, ongoing training, and opportunities for NVQ progression. A £250 joining bonus is paid after probation, with benefits including pension, uniform, and on-site parking.

Job Description

We have an excellent career opportunity for the role of Support Workers to join our team here at Beechcroft House based at our modern 3 bedroom Residential Home based in Westwoodside, Doncaster (DN9 postcode).

The role involves standard 12-hour shifts, and candidates are able to express a preference for working either day or night shifts.

Hours: 12-hour shifts Days or Nights working 8 til 8

Pay: Rate of pay of £12.95.

PLUS a £250 joining bonus paid to you which is paid to you when you pass your probationary period.

Key responsibilities
  • Supporting young adults and adults with Learning Disabilities, Complex Needs and Behaviours of Concern within a Residential Home environment.

  • Identifying needs and preferences for each individual and providing personal care
  • Encourage good community relationships by promoting a variety of activities
  • Accurately report, record and maintain records as required and working to care plans
