Job summary

Silver Birch Care Holdings is seeking a Deputy Manager for The Beeches UK to lead residential care for children and young people. The role involves a 40-hour week including sleep-ins, with a salary of £36,629 per year plus up to £700 per month for sleep-in shifts, and 1 day on/2 days off rotation.

You will support care teams, contribute to individual care plans, and help residents build independence and confidence in a nurturing setting.

Qualifications

• Experience with children and young people in care or related settings.
• Level 3 qualification in Children & Young People’s Residential Care is essential.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.

THE ROLE AT A GLANCE

Location:The Beeches UK

Hours:40 hours per week (including sleep-ins, weekends, and shifts)

Salary:£36,629 per annum + up to £700 additional pay per month for sleep-in shifts

Sleep-in Pay:Up to £700 per month (dependent on sleep-ins worked)

Shift Pattern:1 day on, 2 days off rotation

Overtime:Paid at time and a quarter (at normal rate) once the minimum 40 hours are worked

You will play a key role in young people's daily lives, helping them develop independence, resilience, and essential life skills. Experience in childcare or a related setting is preferred, and your knowledge and insight will directly shape the quality of care we provide.
