Job summary

St Albans City and District Council is seeking a permanent, full-time Accommodation Support Team member to assist households in temporary accommodation with licence sustainment and housing-related support. This permanent, full-time post sits with the Accommodation Support Team at St Albans City and District Council, supporting households in temporary accommodation. Qualifications

Experience

• Demonstrable relevant experience in housing, homelessness, support services or a related field

Skills & knowledge

• Working knowledge of relevant legislation, standards and core disciplines of the work area
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building positive relationships and trust with people from a wide range of backgrounds
• Excellent communicator and literate
• Able to converse at ease with members of the public and give advice in accurate spoken English
