Job summary

Howett Thorpe in Camberley is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant on a temporary basis with the potential to go permanent for the right candidate. This role is office-based and requires immediate availability.

You will assist with management accounts for four entities, process supplier invoices, raise sales invoices, perform bank reconciliations, and manage cash records and payments. Prior experience in accounting and studying AAT/ACCA/CIMA is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar position.
• Actively studying AAT, ACCA or CIMA.
• Experience in using Xero is desirable.
• Able to start at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the preparation of management accounts for 4 entities
• Processing supplier invoices, matching, batching and coding
• Raising sales invoices and monitoring outstanding debtors
• Completing daily bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate cash records
• Preparing weekly payment runs
• Reconciling supplier, customer and inter-company accounts
• Managing petty cash and company credit card reconciliations
• Processing employee expenses
• Maintaining accurate financial records and filing systems
