Job summary

Responsibilities

• Support preparation of management accounts for four entities.
• Process supplier invoices: matching, batching and coding.
• Raise sales invoices and monitor outstanding debtors.
• Perform daily bank reconciliations and maintain cash records.
• Prepare weekly payment runs and reconcile accounts.
• Manage petty cash and company credit card reconciliations.
• Process employee expenses and file records accurately.

Assistant Management Accountant About The Role

In this role you will be working within a finance team of 10 and will be reporting into the Finance Manager. Your key responsibilities will be:

• Supporting the preparation of management accounts for 4 entities
• Processing supplier invoices, matching, batching and coding
• Raising sales invoices and monitoring outstanding debtors
• Completing daily bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate cash records
• Preparing weekly payment runs
• Reconciling supplier, customer and inter-company accounts
• Managing petty cash and company credit card reconciliations
• Processing employee expenses
• Maintaining accurate financial records and filing systems

The successful Assistant Management Accountant will have:

• Previous experience in a similar position
• Be actively studying AAT, ACCA or CIMA
• Experience in using Xero is desirable
• Able to start at short notice
