Job summary

Howett-Thorpe Recruitment Consultants Limited in Camberley is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant for a temporary position with potential to go permanent. You will join a finance team of 10, reporting to the Finance Manager and work full-time in the office.

The role requires prior experience in a similar position, studying AAT/ACCA/CIMA, and familiarity with Xero is desirable. Availability to start on short notice is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar position.
• Actively studying AAT, ACCA or CIMA.
• Experience using Xero is desirable.
• Able to start at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the preparation of management accounts for 4 entities.
• Processing supplier invoices, matching, batching and coding.
• Raising sales invoices and monitoring outstanding debtors.
• Completing daily bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate cash records.
• Preparing weekly payment runs.
• Reconciling supplier, customer and inter-company accounts.
• Managing petty cash and company credit card reconciliations.
• Processing employee expenses.
• Maintaining accurate financial records and filing systems.
