Are you an experienced Assistant Accountant looking for your next temporary opportunity?

We are recruiting for a Temporary Assistant Accountant to join a busy finance team based in Beverley. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role and can hit the ground running, supporting the wider finance function.

Role will involve:

• Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Completing bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Supporting month-end processes
• Assisting with accruals and prepayments
• Processing journals and maintaining accurate financial records
• Supporting accounts payable and receivable where required
• Assisting with reporting and analysis
• Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc duties

About you:

We are looking for someone with previous experience in an Assistant Accountant or similar finance role. You'll be confident working with numbers, have strong attention to detail and be comfortable using Excel and accounting systems.

You may be AAT qualified, studying towards ACCA/CIMA or qualified by experience. Most importantly, you'll be able to pick things up quickly and support the team during this temporary assignment.

This role is paying £15 per hour and is based in Beverley.
