Job summary

Alex Young Recruitment Limited are seeking a Temp Static Maintenance Engineer to be based in Bolton. The role requires an electrical bias with 18th edition and a proven track record in commercial maintenance. You will cover PPM and reactive maintenance, lighting changes, and essential safety checks.

Hours are 8-5, Monday to Friday. The contract runs for 5 months, ending end of January, with a rate of 17.00–25.00 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Electrical bias with 18th edition.
• Proven track record in commercial maintenance.

Responsibilities

• PPM and reactive maintenance tasks.
• Changing lights and fittings as required.
• Emergency lighting tests and fire alarm tests.
• Plant checks and water checks (TMVs).
• Flushing L8 and escalation of issues.
• Escorting subcontractors and facilitating works.
• General repairs and routine maintenance.
