We are recruiting for aMaintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join one of the leading FMCG manufacturers in the UK. That supply to all the major retailers across the country. You’ll be implemented into a team of 30 Engineers, conducting PPMs and reactive maintenance across all machinery. There could be some potential project work, as the site is growing. With the addition of more modern automated machinery in place. The site is very fast paced, depending on demand, 50,000 to 150,000 units are produced a week.
As amaintenance engineer, you’ll work with a range of machinery including:
Your focus will be70% reactiveand30% PPM, using a tablet system for job tracking. This role places a strong emphasis onelectrical maintenance and repair. However, you will need to be competent mechanically. You’ll need to be confident working with pneumatics, gearboxes, bearings, shafts, chains, sensors, and control panels etc. Experience fault finding via PLC is also needed.
