Job summary

bp retail in Newmarket is seeking a Temporary Customer Service Assistant for an initial 6 week contract. You will join a fast-paced retail team delivering friendly, efficient service in the Wild Bean Café and store areas.

Full training will be provided online and on-the-job to develop the skills needed to meet customer needs, handle stock deliveries, promotions and loyalty offers, and maintain a clean, safe environment for colleagues and customers. Applicants welcome from 16+.

Qualifications

• Passion for customer service and ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• No prior retail experience required; training will be provided online and on-the-job.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the safety of yourself, colleagues and customers in line with bp policies.
• Serving customers efficiently, ensuring their needs are met promptly and effectively.
• Fostering a positive and inclusive work environment in line with bp beliefs.
• Preparing and serving food and drink items from our Wild Bean Café.
• Taking deliveries, replenishing stock and completing stock management tasks.
• Being proactive in supporting bp’s offers, promotions and loyalty scheme.
• Carrying out cleaning duties in all aspects of the store, facilities and forecourt.
