Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Guest Services Host for a temporary role at Braintree Village Shopping Centre. The position offers 6 hours per week, primarily evenings and weekends, at £13.45 per hour, reporting to Guest Services Supervisors.

You will deliver warm, professional service to guests and retailers, act as an ambassador for the Centre, and help ensure a safe, welcoming environment while supporting events and campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, professional service to guests, retailers, contractors, and colleagues.
• Provide information about the Centre, retailers, services, events, and local attractions.
• Respond to guest enquiries via face-to-face, phone, and email.
• Support centre events, promotions, and seasonal activities.
• Manage lost property, accessibility services, mobility equipment, and other guest-facing services.
• Record and communicate guest enquiries and incidents during handovers.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming Guest Services area.
• Follow all site policies and health and safety requirements.
