Job summary

Chef Results Limited is seeking Relief Chefs to support care homes in Falkirk and surrounding areas. You may work from Chef de Partie to Head Chef level depending on the property’s need, with year‑round opportunities and PVG checks required to operate in their kitchens.

Flexibility is key in this role, offering short-notice placements and variety across different sites while maintaining high standards with fresh produce and quick turnaround.

Qualifications

• Experience at least Sous Chef level with strong cooking skills across sections in fast-paced kitchens.
• Must have or be willing to apply for PVG check and hold a current Food Safety Certificate.
• Own transport not essential but advantageous.
• Eligible to live and work in the UK under the Asylum & Immigration Act 1996.

Job description

Care Homes in Falkirk and the surrounding areas are seeking Relief Chefs.

Flexible chefs who are able to work in a variety of properties sometimes at short notice. You may be working from Chef de Partie to Head Chef level, depending on your skills and the requirement of the property you will be working at.

Our care home contracts require Temp Chefs to have PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) checks in order to work in their kitchens. There is plenty of year round work available with these.

Requirements:

• Chefs who have worked to at least Sous Chef level with excellent all round cooking skills capable of jumping on any section and used to working in fast paced kitchens with all fresh produce.
• All chefs must have or be willing to apply for a PVG, and a current Food Safety Certificate.
• It is not essential to have your own transport but it is advantageous.

In line with the requirements of the Asylum & Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK. Documented evidence of the eligibility will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process.
