Job summary

Pertemps West Bromwich is seeking an experienced Telesales Executive to join our established manufacturing client. You will develop strong customer relationships, generate new business and maximise sales opportunities.

You will support Sales Managers with quotes, appointments and orders, make outbound calls and maintain accurate CRM records while driving customer satisfaction across existing accounts. The role requires a proactive, results-driven approach and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' previous experience as a Telesales Executive.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience within metals industry or electrical distribution sector - desirable.
• Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
• A proactive and results-driven approach to sales.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Flexibility to support other departments.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to enhance the customer experience and introduce the full range of products to customers.
• Support Sales Managers and Directors with quotes, appointment bookings, sample requests, credit applications, events, delivery tracking and other admin requirements.
• Make outbound calls to prospective customers using the ACT database to identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Conduct monthly customer retention calls, prioritising zero-spend accounts and accounts with reduced spend.
• Maintain accurate CRM records of daily sales activities and customer interactions.
• Conduct regular competitor, product and market research with Sales Managers.
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Manage and maintain existing customer accounts with high service levels.
• Collaborate with other departments and provide cross-functional support.
