Charles Street Finance is a specialist secured lender based in Cheadle, South Manchester. We are expanding our team and seeking a Telephony Business Development Manager to grow our broker network and generate new business opportunities through proactive outreach and a strong professional network.

You will manage the end-to-end sales process, engage with brokers, and work with underwriting, legal and ops to ensure a smooth journey from enquiry to drawdown.

Qualifications

• Essential: BD experience in Bridging Finance / Specialist lenders.
• Proven target-driven track record in internal or tele-sales.
• Demonstrated ability to build broker relationships and grow new business.
• Ability to multi-task to meet SLAs and drive opportunities.
• Confident in pursuing leads and overcoming objections with sales techniques.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter with strong organisation and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end sales pipeline with timely follow-up, forecasting and progression.
• Proactively engage clients, brokers and introducers by phone and email.
• Identify barriers to conversion and implement strategies to improve win rates.
• Collaborate with underwriting, legal and operations for smooth journey from application to drawdown.
• Identify opportunities for repeat business and client retention.
• Contribute to sales strategy, process improvements and training.
