Job summary

Charles Street Finance (CSF) is seeking a Telephony Business Development Manager in Cheadle to develop and manage broker relationships, drive new bridging finance opportunities, and lead proactive outbound activity. You will build a broker panel, pursue leads, and collaborate with underwriting and operations to ensure a smooth client journey from application to drawdown.

Qualifications

• Business Development experience within Bridging Finance for a Specialist / Property Lender.
• Track record in target-driven environments with tele-sales or inside sales.
• Proven ability to develop Broker relationships and win new business.
• Multi-tasking to meet SLAs and targets.
• Confidence to pursue leads and overcome objections with sales techniques.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter with strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Existing Broker or Introducer network.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end sales pipeline with timely follow-up and forecasting.
• Engage with clients, brokers, and introducers via phone and email to convert opportunities.
• Identify barriers to conversion and implement strategies to improve win rates.
• Collaborate with underwriting, legal, and operations for a smooth journey from application to drawdown.
• Identify opportunities for repeat business and client retention.
• Contribute to sales strategy, process improvement, and training.
