Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London is seeking an experienced Telehandler for on-site work in the Teynham area. You will be responsible for moving materials, loading and unloading, and ensuring loads are secure on a fast-paced site.

A valid CPCS (blue) card or NPORS CSCS experienced driver ticket is essential, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role. This temporary full-time position starts ASAP and offers on-site responsibilities with daily site tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years+ experience operating a Telehandler in construction environments.
• Current CPCS blue card or NPORS CSCS ticket is required.
• Good knowledge of site health and safety procedures is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials from vehicles and transport to designated areas on site.
• Move goods packed on pallets or in crates as directed.
• Check loads are secure before movement and stacking empty pallets.
• Perform daily equipment checks such as recharging the telehandler battery and basic maintenance.
• Remove machine attachments and waste material from machines.

Role: Telehandler

Location: Teynham

Contract type: Temporary (Full time)

Start date: ASAP

Duration: Ongoing

Pay rate: £17-18 per hour

The company:

A well-established regional developer who builds between 30-50 units with a focus on high-end.

The role:

• Obtain copies of production schedule daily and transport materials to and from designated areas on site.
• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks
• Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates.
• Checking loads are secure.
• Stacking empty pallets
• Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck's battery and lubricating equipment.
• Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines

About you:

• Working knowledge of site health & safety procedures would be an advantage but is not essential.
• Strong work ethic in a team.
• Be approachable and happy to work as a point of contact when working in a standalone position.
