Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London is seeking an experienced Telehandler for a temporary ongoing role on a site in Gillingham. You must hold a valid CPCS blue card or NPORS CSCS ticket and be available to start ASAP. Pay rates are £17-£18 per hour, with an on-site, full-time working arrangement.

As Telehandler on site, you will move materials, load/unload trucks, check loads, and ensure loads are secure. You will also perform daily equipment checks and assist with pallets as required.

Qualifications

• Current and valid CPCS blue card or NPORS CSCS ticket is required.
• 3+ years of Telehandler experience in a similar environment.
• Ability to work effectively on a construction site and follow site procedures.

Responsibilities

• Obtain copies of production schedule daily and transport materials to and from designated areas on site.
• Load and unload goods from vehicles such as trucks.
• Move goods packed on pallets or in crates.
• Check loads are secure.
• Stack empty pallets.
• Perform daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck's battery and lubricating equipment.
• Remove machine attachments and waste material from machines.

A well-established regional developer who builds between 30-50 units with a focus on high-end.

The role:

As the Telehandler on site, you will be responsible for the following:

• Obtain copies of production schedule daily and transport materials to and from designated areas on site.
• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks
• Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates.
• Checking loads are secure.
• Stacking empty pallets
• Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck's battery and lubricating equipment.
• Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines

About you:

• Working knowledge of site health & safety procedures would be an advantage but is not essential.
• Strong work ethic in a team.
• Be approachable and happy to work as a point of contact when working in a standalone position.

To be successful in your application for this role you will have and be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

• You will need a current and valid CPCS (blue) card or NPORS CSCS experienced driver ticket.
• A minimum of 3 years+ experience operating a Telehandler in the same environment.
