Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London are listing a Telehandler role in the Faversham area. This is a temporary full-time position with an ASAP start, paying £17-£18 per hour. You must hold a CPCS blue card or NPORS CSCS, and have at least 3 years of Telehandler experience on construction sites.

You will be responsible for moving materials on site, loading/unloading, checking loads, stacking pallets and carrying out routine equipment checks to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Current and valid CPCS (blue) card or NPORS CSCS card required.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience operating a Telehandler in construction.

Responsibilities

• Obtain copies of production schedule daily and transport materials to and from designated areas on site.
• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks
• Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates.
• Checking loads are secure.
• Stacking empty pallets
• Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck's battery and lubricating equipment.
• Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines

The role:

As the Telehandler on site, you will be responsible for the following:

• Working knowledge of site health & safety procedures would be an advantage but is not essential.
• Strong work ethic in a team.

• You will need a current and valid CPCS (blue) card or NPORS CSCS experienced driver ticket.
• A minimum of 3 years+ experience operating a Telehandler in the same environment.
