Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London is seeking a Telehandler for a Newington construction site. You must hold a valid CPCS (blue) card or NPORS CSCS card and have at least 3 years’ Telehandler experience on similar sites. This is a temporary, full-time role paying £20-£21 per hour.

Duties include loading and unloading, transporting materials, checking loads, stacking pallets, and carrying out daily equipment checks. You will join a reputable regional developer on an ongoing project.

Qualifications

• Must have a current and valid CPCS (blue) card or NPORS CSCS experienced driver ticket.
• Minimum of 3 years+ experience operating a Telehandler on construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Obtain/transport materials to and from designated areas on site.
• Load and unload goods from vehicles such as trucks.
• Move goods packed on pallets or in crates.
• Check loads are secure.
• Stack empty pallets.
• Perform daily equipment checks and lubricate equipment.
• Remove machine attachments and waste material from machines.

The role

• Obtain copies of production schedule daily and transport materials to and from designated areas on site.
• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks
• Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates.
• Checking loads are secure.
• Stacking empty pallets
• Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck's battery and lubricating equipment.
• Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines

About you

• Working knowledge of site health & safety procedures would be an advantage but is not essential.
• Strong work ethic in a team.
• Be approachable and happy to work as a point of contact when working in a standalone position.
