Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London is seeking a Telehandler for a temporary, full-time position in Sandwich. The role requires a current CPCS blue card or NPORS CSCS ticket and at least 3 years of telehandler experience on a construction site. Duties include on-site material movement, loading/unloading, pallet handling, and equipment checks.

You will work with a reputable regional developer, supporting daily site operations and ensuring loads are secure while maintaining safety standards.

• Minimum 3 years+ experience operating a telehandler in construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Obtain copies of production schedule daily and transport materials to and from designated areas on site.
• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks
• Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates
• Checking loads are secure
• Stacking empty pallets
• Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck's battery and lubricating equipment
• Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines

• Working knowledge of site health & safety procedures would be an advantage but is not essential.
• Strong work ethic in a team.
• Be approachable and happy to work as a point of contact when working in a standalone position.
