Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Group in Billingshurst is seeking an experienced Telehandler to join a reputable construction site. You will be responsible for transporting materials, loading/unloading, and ensuring loads are secure while working closely with the site team.

Applicants must hold a current CPCS (blue) card or NPORS CSCS ticket and have at least 3 years of Telehandler experience in similar environments. A strong work ethic and team orientation are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Current and valid CPCS (blue) card or NPORS CSCS experienced driver ticket.
• Minimum of 3 years+ experience operating a Telehandler on construction sites.
• Site health and safety procedures knowledge is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate Telehandler on site and transport materials as scheduled.
• Load and unload goods from vehicles such as trucks.
• Move goods on pallets or crates and ensure loads are secure.
• Stack empty pallets and perform daily equipment checks (battery, lubrication).
• Remove machine attachments and waste material from machines.

Job description

Do you currently work in Construction? Are you a Telehandler currently looking for work? Do you hold a valid CPCS/NPORS CSCS card? If the answers are yes, we have roles opening with a reputable Construction company in the Billingshurst

area.

• Contract type: Temporary (Full time)
• Duration: On-going
• Pay rate: £19.75-20 per hour

The company:

A well-established regional developer who builds between 30-50 units with a focus on high-end.

The role:

As the Telehandler on site, you will be responsible for the following:

• Obtain copies of production schedule daily and transport materials to and from designated areas on site.
• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks
• Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates.
• Checking loads are secure.
• Stacking empty pallets
• Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck's battery and lubricating equipment.
• Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines

About you:

• Working knowledge of site health & safety procedures would be an advantage but is not essential.
• Strong work ethic in a team.
• Be approachable and happy to work as a point of contact when working in a standalone position.
