Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Group is hiring a Telehandler for an on-site, temporary full-time position in Bexhill. You will manage material movement, assist with loading/unloading, and support site logistics on a busy construction site.

Qualifications

• Valid CPCS/NPORS/CSCS card required.
• Experience operating telehandler on construction sites would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Obtain copies of project production schedules daily.
• Transport materials to designated areas on site and load/unload from vehicles.
• Move goods on pallets or in crates and ensure loads are secure.
• Perform daily equipment checks and basic maintenance tasks.
• Remove machine attachments and waste material from equipment.

The role:

As the Telehandler on site, you will be responsible for the following:

• Obtain copies of production schedule daily and transport materials to and from designated areas on site.
• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks
• Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates.
• Checking loads are secure.
• Stacking empty pallets
• Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck's battery and lubricating equipment.
• Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines
