Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Group in Crawley is seeking an experienced Telehandler to support on-site operations on a high-end residential development. You will move materials, load and unload from vehicles, and ensure loads are secure while maintaining daily safety checks.

Applicants must hold a CPCS blue card or NPORS CSCS ticket with at least 3 years of telehandler experience on construction sites. Strong teamwork and reliability are essential for this standalone yet collaborative role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' telehandler experience on construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Obtain production schedule daily and transport materials to/from designated areas on site.
• Load and unload goods from vehicles such as trucks.
• Move goods packed on pallets or in crates.
• Check loads are secure.
• Stack empty pallets.
• Perform daily equipment checks (e.g., battery charging, lubrication).
• Remove machine attachments and waste material from machines.

Job description

• Contract type: Temporary (Full time)

The company:

A well-established regional developer who builds between 30-50 units with a focus on high-end.

The role:

As the Telehandler on site, you will be responsible for the following:

• Obtain copies of production schedule daily and transport materials to and from designated areas on site.
• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks
• Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates.
• Checking loads are secure.
• Stacking empty pallets
• Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck's battery and lubricating equipment.
• Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines

About you:

• Working knowledge of site health & safety procedures would be an advantage but is not essential.
• Strong work ethic in a team.
• Be approachable and happy to work as a point of contact when working in a standalone position.

To be successful in your application for this role you will have and be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

• You will need a current and valid CPCS (blue) card or NPORS CSCS experienced driver ticket.
• A minimum of 3 years+ experience operating a Telehandler in the same environment.
