Job summary

Fawkes & Reece on site in Eastleigh is seeking an experienced Telehandler to support daily material movements and loading operations. You will transport materials, load/unload from trucks, move pallets, and ensure loads are secure. Daily checks on equipment and safe operation are expected.

• Must hold a current CPCS (blue) card or NPORS CSCS ticket.
• Minimum 1+ years of telehandler experience on construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials to/from designated areas on site.
• Load and unload goods from vehicles.
• Move goods on pallets or in crates.
• Ensure loads are secure and stable.
• Stack empty pallets and maintain order on site.
• Carry out daily equipment checks (battery recharges, lubrication).
• Remove machine attachments and waste material as required.

The company:

A well establish contractor that operates in various sectors such as the industrials, education, commercial and refurbishment space.

The role:

As the Telehandler on site, you will be responsible for the following:

• Obtain copies of production schedule daily and transport materials to and from designated areas on site.
• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks
• Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates.
• Checking loads are secure.
• Stacking empty pallets
• Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck's battery and lubricating equipment.
• Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines

About you:

• Working knowledge of site health & safety procedures would be an advantage but is not essential.
• Strong work ethic in a team.
• Be approachable and happy to work as a point of contact when working in a standalone position.

To be successful in your application for this role you will have and be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

• You will need a current and valid CPCS (blue) card or NPORS CSCS experienced driver ticket.
• A minimum of 1 years+ experience operating a Telehandler in the same environment.
