Job summary

Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd is seeking a Telehandler for a reputable construction site in Wokingham. You will transport materials to and from designated areas, load and unload pallets, and help maintain a clean, safe worksite.

To be successful you must hold a CPCS blue card or NPORS CSCS, have 3+ years of Telehandler experience in similar environments, and be prepared for temporary, full-time work.

Qualifications

• Current and valid CPCS blue card or NPORS CSCS is required.
• Minimum 3 years of Telehandler experience in similar environments.
• Experience on construction sites preferred.
• Willing to work on temporary, full-time contracts.

Responsibilities

• Obtain production materials and transport to designated areas on site.
• Load and unload goods from vehicles and pallets.
• Check loads are secure before movement.
• Perform daily equipment checks and routine maintenance.
• Assist with general site duties and keep work areas tidy.

Are you a Telehandler currently looking for work?

Do you hold a valid CPCS/NPORS CSCS card?

If the answers are yes, we have roles opening with a reputable Construction company in the Wokingham area.

Role: Telehandler Location: Wokingham Contract type: Temporary (Full time) Pay rate: £19-120 per hour.

The role: As the Telehandler on site, you will be responsible for the following: Obtain copies of production schedule daily and transport materials to and from designated areas on site.

Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates.

Checking loads are secure.

Stacking empty pallets Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck's battery and lubricating equipment.

Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines About you: Working knowledge of site health & safety procedures would be an advantage but is not essential.

Strong work ethic in a team.

Be approachable and happy to work as a point of contact when working in a standalone position.

To be successful in your application for this role you will have and be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes: You will need a current and valid CPCS (blue) card or NPORS CSCS experienced driver ticket.

A minimum of 3 years+ experience operating a Telehandler in the same environment.
