Placements24 seeks a diligent Telecoms Network Administrator to manage and maintain telecom network infrastructure in Randburg, Gauteng. You will monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and support end-users across the organization.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in telecom network administration, strong knowledge of TCP/IP/DNS/DHCP, PBX/VoIP experience, and solid troubleshooting skills for a reliable, secure network environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in network administration, within a telecom environment.
• Proficiency with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and common network operating systems.
• Experience with PBX systems and VoIP technology is highly desirable.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain telecom network hardware and software.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity and equipment issues.
• Implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls and VPNs.
• Provide technical support to end-users for telecommunications services.
• Perform regular network backups and disaster recovery planning.
