Job summary

IDSL seeks a Telecommunication Engineer with hands-on experience in MikroTik RouterOS, Cisco IOS, and Juniper Junos to design and maintain robust network infrastructures for residential and business clients in the UK.

You will design, implement, monitor, and troubleshoot routing, switching, and security configurations, work with cross-functional teams, and document changes to ensure reliability and compliance. Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, JNCIA/JNCIP, or MTCNA/MTCRE are highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience with MikroTik RouterOS, Cisco IOS, and Juniper Junos.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VPNs, and firewall configurations.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools such as Zabbix, PRTG, or SolarWinds.
• Ability to read network diagrams and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, JNCIA/JNCIP, or MTCNA/MTCRE are highly desirable.
• Bachelors degree in Telecommunications, CS, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Key Responsibilities:
