Job summary

18 Week Support is seeking a Tele-Derm Technician (HCA) to support an NHS Tele-Dermatology service in Hertfordshire. You will be trained to take clinical photographs for remote dermatologist review, handling about 30 patients daily, while maintaining patient confidentiality and high care standards.

No prior Tele-Dermatology experience is required; full training will be provided to master photography equipment and workflow, with ongoing support from an experienced clinical team.

Qualifications

• Currently working as a Dermatology HCA or in a similar role.
• Willingness to learn Tele-Dermatology photography process.
• Ability to follow clinical protocols and maintain patient dignity.

Responsibilities

• Take high-quality clinical photographs of patients per protocol.
• Support about 30 patients per day with photography workflow.
• Prepare patients and explain the photography process clearly.
• Ensure images are labelled, uploaded and confidential.
• Work with clinical and administrative teams to maintain service quality.
