18 Week Support invites a Dermatology HCA (Surgical & Outpatients) to join our team for extra weekend work with competitive pay in Southampton. You’ll work with experienced clinicians and under the guidance of Clinical and Nurse Leads, delivering patient care in dermatology settings.

Key duties include assisting in phototherapy, minor surgery, patch testing and Iontophoresis; training will cover Iontophoresis delivery, patch test clinic support, topical treatments, and skin camouflage.

Qualifications

• Assisting in all areas within Dermatology including Phototherapy, Minor Surgery, dermatology day care treatments including patch testing and Iontophoresis.
• Will be trained to deliver Iontophoresis and assisting in Patch test clinic under the supervision of a registered nurse
• To deliver topical treatments to patients attending day care unit under the supervision of registered nurse
• To assist clinicians in Minor Surgery acting as scrub or assisting nurse. Will be prepared to undergone training for this.
• To will be willing to be trained in skin camouflage clinic (according to service needs)
• Fully achieve and maintain competencies within the competency framework for this post
