Job summary

18 Week Support is seeking a Dermatology HCA to join our weekend roster. You will work alongside experienced clinicians and under the guidance of Clinical and Nurse Leads, delivering a range of dermatology day care tasks and support across phototherapy, patch testing, iontophoresis, and minor surgery assistance.

This role offers flexible shifts to fit NHS commitments, competitive rates, and a booking app to view and book shifts quickly in your area.

Qualifications

• Current HCA registration or equivalent healthcare qualification.
• Experience in dermatology settings is preferred.
• Ability to work weekends and flexible shifts as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in dermatology duties including phototherapy, minor surgery, patch testing, and iontophoresis.
• Deliver topical treatments under supervision of a registered nurse.
• Assist clinicians in minor surgery and skin camouflage clinics as trained.
• Maintain competencies within the post's framework.
• Be willing to undergo further training as needed.
