Job summary

Capgemini is seeking an experienced OSS Inventory SME to lead inventory modernization and data governance for telecom networks in the UK. You will work on OSS transformations, system integrations, and migration programs with a focus on data quality and canonical data models.

The role requires 10–12 years in telecom OSS, strong GIS and REST/SOAP skills, and a hybrid arrangement with two days per week in Newbury. A Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field is expected.

Qualifications

• OSS platforms and functional knowledge: Amdocs Cramer (Mandatory), Comarch NRM (Mandatory).
• Telecom domain experience: Mobile Networks (2G/3G/4G/5G), IP/MPLS, Optical & Transport, Fiber Inventory, Fixed Access networks.
• GIS-based Network Inventory, Spatial Data Modeling, Network Mapping Solutions.
• Integration & Technology Skills: REST APIs, SOAP Services, XML/JSON, Java, SQL, Python, Shell scripts, Linux, Oracle, Data Migration & ETL.
• Architecture & Design: OSS Transformation Programs, Canonical Data Models, Inventory Migration Strategies, HLD / LLD Preparation.

Responsibilities

• Drive OSS transformation programs and inventory modernization initiatives.
• Lead network data governance across telecom domains and data migration efforts.
• Oversee system integration and migration programs with operational excellence.
• Collaborate on architecture/design for OSS/BSS transformation projects.
• Engage in Capgemini's strategic inventory transformation agenda.
