Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Packet Core Test Engineer in Reading to assure quality and readiness of containerized Packet Core for live deployment.

You will test, validate and integrate releases, manage risks, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure reliable delivery. The role requires experience with mobile core networks and cloud-native tech.

Qualifications

• Experience in integration/test for Mobile Telecoms Packet Core (2G-5G).
• Containerized (Docker/Kubernetes) and cloud-native experience.
• Hands-on testing, packet capture, and diagnostics tools (Wireshark, Infovista Ativa).
• Strong Linux, container and cloud-native tech understanding.
• Knowledge of core signaling protocols (GTPv1/v2, NGAP, PFCP).
