Job summary

Flagship Pioneering is seeking a motivated co-op to join the Technical Operations team in Cambridge, MA. You will build dashboards, automate workflows, and connect data across systems to accelerate medicine development.

You’ll own projects end-to-end, choose tools, and work with senior leaders across CMC to turn challenges into working software. This role emphasizes hands-on development and real ownership in a fast-paced biotech environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a graduate or undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience building applications—not just coursework, but projects you can show (GitHub repos, deployed apps, side projects).
• Familiarity with React/JavaScript, Python, HTML/CSS, SQL, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Build and iterate on React-based dashboards and internal web apps that track drug development portfolios, resource forecasting, and program milestones.
• Create AI-powered workflows to automate document generation, data extraction, and reporting.
• Connect data across systems into unified, usable tools.
• Prototype new approaches and pitch them to turn problems into working software.
• Work with senior leaders across CMC to understand pain points and translate them into solutions.
